A prenuptial agreement is a contract entered into before marriage, allowing the future spouses to define the matrimonial property regime governing their financial relations. Beyond organising the couple’s assets, it can also serve as a succession planning tool and help prevent future disputes, providing greater legal certainty throughout the marriage.
