The most effective way to ensure that a specific asset is assigned to a particular heir is by drafting a will, in which the asset and the intended beneficiary should be clearly and precisely indicated.

One may consider establishing a testamentary legacy, which designates a specific asset to an heir, or making lifetime donation to guarantee the early transfer of the desired property even if it reserves for itself the usufruct of the property or its free disposal.
