Contingency Plan for Covid-19 is being updated

New metropolitan system increases ticket sales by 30% in Lisbon

After changes in prices for the metropolitan system, the number of passengers using public transportation in Lisbon increased 18.1%, with a 30% increase in monthly subway passes. The Lisbon city hall has assumed that public transports are a priority, with more changes coming in the course of 2020.

Portugal ranks in the 22nd position for the children’s wellbeing report

The World Health Organization, UNICEF and science magazine The Lancet ranked 180 countries based on measurements of children’s survival, health, education and nutrition. Portugal appears in the 22th position with Norway in first place, South Corea in second and Netherlands showing in third place.
