The government will profit 238 million euros from 5G auction

After 5G approval, the government is now receiving propositions that reach at least 237,96 million euros, according to predictions. The value may even increase, with Huawei being the only brand out of the 5G auction, due to incapability in respecting the security measures.

BMW, Jerónimo Martins, and other 77 Lisbon based companies join the urban mobility program

The corporate mobility program, a partnership between the Lisbon city hall and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, will include company policies like in-office showers, remote work, usage of public transports and others.

6% of Portuguese employees work at home. Europe’s average is 5.2%

Eurostat numbers show that working remotely is a trend that is consistently increasing over the last decade. In Portugal, 6.6% of remote workers are females, with only 5.6% being men. On the other hand, workers between the age of 50 and 64 represent 7.6%, showing that young workers (with only 1.7%) are still not following the trend.
