To prevent a situation of incapacity, the mandate to accompany can be a solution. How? You can leave all the instructions in a written declaration, as provided for in Article 156 of the Civil Code.

The loss of autonomy, whether with advancing age or the diagnosis of a progressive disease such as Alzheimer’s, can create insecurity and doubts about the future. Even if you are not in a case like this, it may make sense for you to be able to make decisions before you cannot.

This regime exists precisely so you can have control and ensure that your wishes are honoured and respected, not leaving this decision to third parties.

You can choose who takes care of you, who manages your estate in the event of incapacity and how your assets will be managed.
