Under the law, this statement is a **MYTH.**

Not all delays entitle passengers to compensation.

If the delay is caused by extraordinary circumstances, such as extreme weather conditions or security risks, the airline may not be required to compensate passengers.

Keep your boarding pass.  
Request written confirmation of the reason for the delay.  
Keep all receipts for expenses incurred while waiting.
