João Caiado Guerreiro is a lead partner of the Corporate and M&A and Litigation & Arbitration departments, also coordinating the teams of Capital Markets, Banking and Finance, Project Management, Foreign Investment and Corporate Governance.
João Caiado Guerreiro has been responsible for many operations and projects of considerable size and complexity in his areas of expertise in Portugal and abroad. In addition, he has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and is a consultant to some of the most important national and international companies operating in Portugal and President of the Shareholders’ General Assembly of several of the largest companies in Portugal.
João Caiado Guerreiro is one of the lawyers with greater notoriety in the country in capital markets and mergers and acquisitions, having become noticed especially in major national and international projects and having his practice recognized by major international directories. In addition, João Caiado Guerreiro has participated in significant project finance, securitization, investment funds and derivatives transactions.
He is frequently invited as a speaker at several national and international conferences. He regularly comments on business and law on major national television channels, such as RTP, SIC and TVI. João Caiado Guerreiro is a columnist for A BOLA newspaper and often writes articles for national and international publications within his areas of expertise.
