We designed a program that invests in developing young trainee’s skills, which starts with an intensive training period. Every year, Caiado Guerreiro marks its presence at job fairs and job shops in prestigious universities, institutes and technical schools to identify and recruit a new generation of trainee-lawyers for the firm.
The path for trainees is not defined at the start but is determined thought their time with us on the basis of meritocracy, technical quality and work capacity. Usually, the firm has an interest in hiring its trainees after the end of the internship, provided that during this period they have demonstrated excellent capacities and work quality, in addition to impeccable soft skills.
The firm tends to favour candidates who have a good academic background, including a master’s degree. Fluency in English is mandatory and the knowledge of other foreign languages, such as French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese and others, are highly valuable. The availability to travel and work abroad is also something we look forward in our applicants, due to our international practice.
